Lab Confirmation & MRO Process

Critical to the defensibility of a substance abuse policy, all non-negative POCT (point of collection test) results must be sent to the lab for laboratory gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS20 or LC/MS/MS21) confirmatory testing. The subsequent quantitative laboratory results are sent to an independent medical review officer (MRO) for final result verification: positive or negative. A 5-part chain of custody (CCF) securely and chronologically documents the entire process. SIX Safety's virtual third party administrator (VTPA) manages this process from start to finish.
